Bruton's wealth of experience stems from working in positions that varied from
telemarketing to loan originating to office management and small business management. Through first hand experience she became aware of how overwhelming and frustrating it can be to market your own business when your skills may lie elsewhere. "There is a lot to learn and a lot to do. It is very time consuming. I became more and more interested in marketing and decided to educate myself initially to fulfill my own marketing needs but now to also offer services that will help other small business owners market and promote their business, products and services. It was through my research and self education that I discovered the virtual assistant industry", says Bruton.
A virtual assistant is an independent contractor working from his or her own office, often based at home. Clients benefit by receiving experienced support without providing office space, equipment or payroll related expenses. The entrepreneur and VA keep in contact and share documents via telephone, fax, email, IM, postal mail and courier.
